Greetings Earthling!

this is actually just been borrowed from my flickr profile until I can get to writing this properly tomorrow!! (got to be better than an empty page right?)

My name Is Stuart and I live in a nice seaside town in Dorset on the south coast of England, I was born here and because there is just to much gorgeousness on my doorstep I’ve never contemplated living anywhere else, although I still enjoy travelling about when the opportunity arises

I’m 28 years old and am happily married and have a Daughter who is 6 years old. My day job entails working as a Systems Administrator and Intranet author for a government agency (yawnsville!) . It pays the bills but does not satisfy my creative urges so I spend a lot of time endulging myself in my hobbies which at the moment include Photography (duh!), Web Design (mostly drupal based), Music ( I love to listen and also play bass and guitar) and the odd bit of drawing.

I guess one day it would be nice to have a day job which let me stretch and indulge my creative side but I am fairly confident I do not have enough talent in any particular discipline to make this a reality. So for now it’s all dreams.

At the moment I mainly shoot with a nikon d80, I also sometimes use a canon ixus70 (for p&s situations) and also indulge my film urges using a Lomo Smena 8M and actionsampler and also have an Instax 100 I use for some instant fun. I love cameras the more I can get hold of the better!!

I don’t think I’ve settled into a style yet, my photography is an exploration of myself and my world through my eyes. As my life changes so does my photographic style. I’m currently undertaking the 365days project which is helping me explore varous technical and creative possibilities….learning lots and enjoying every part of it! huzzah
